Hawaii Tours
Includes Local & Family Favorites
Hawaii tours might be no more than a ride in a 60 passenger bus or involve helicopters, kayaks and bicycles. The choice is up to you. Just like everyone of the islands is different, so are the choices when it comes to tours. Oahu is undoubtedly the organized tour capital of Hawaii. Recent statistics show that fewer than 20% of the visitors to the "Gathering Place" rent cars so when it's time to tour people jump on a bus. The good news about this is that volume helps keep costs down. The bad news is that volume means crowds. Tour buses fill a need, but they definitely got their reputation honestly.
If you want to experience the real Hawaii there's only one way to do it - go to the neighbor islands! Many see this as Oahu's real strength. Oahu is home to Honolulu and its airport. From there you can catch interisland flights leaving every half hour. Just think about it. Instead of catching the subway to Jersey you can take a 30 minute ride to Maui, Kauai or the Big Island!

When you arrive in the neighbor islands the possibilities are unlimited. On Maui you can ride a bicycle 10,000 vertical feet down Mt. Haleakala. The Big Island offers visitors rides down a flume that formerly supplied water to the plantations. Want to see something spectacular? Take a helicopter tour along Molokai's 3000 foot seacliffs where waterfalls fall into mist.

So don't be afraid of signing up with one of Hawaii's diverse tour companies. Those people put together some of the best buys in Hawaii tourism. Just make the decision not to spend another day laying around the pool and do it!

Speaking of doing it, why not click the Shop button and order one of the Hawaii Restaurant Guides? You wouldn't be here  reading this site if you didn't think that dining should be be an adventure, so do yourself a favor and just DO IT!
