Hawaii Visitor Attractions
Includes Local & Family Favorites
Hawaii attractions are unlike anything you'll find at other travel destinations. Where else can you experience Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial? How about natural wonders like a coastline curtained with waterfalls or the active volcano on the Big Island? Let's not forget family favorites like the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. No matter what your age or interest you're sure to find something to please when you visit America's Pacific Paradise in Hawaii.
"Some attractions have free admission so look around first!"
Oahu is Hawaii's most visited island. It's also home to some of Hawaii's best known attractions. When visitor polls are taken the number one "must see" comes up Pearl Harbor everytime. Here you'll see the battleships USS Arizona and USS Missouri resting like two bookends marking the beginning and end of World War II. This is a pilgrimage most feel compelled to make.
On a less somber note Oahu features attractions that appeal to the fun-loving spirit in all of us. Visitors are naturally drawn to the Polynesian Cultural Center where living displays of island life educate and entertain. Those interested in getting up close and personal with Hawaii's reef fish won't want to miss taking a morning's snorkel trip to Haunama Bay. Of course, we all want to see the legendary North Shore surfing beaches.
The Neighbor Islands have their share of attractions as well. Visitors to Kauai will want to experience the natural beauty of Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali coast. Those heading for Maui can look forward to watching the sunrise from the top of Mount Haleakala or driving its perimeter road through Hana. Of course the big kahuna of Hawaii's natural attractions remains the Big Island's Volcano National Park with its active volcano.
After a busy day of enjoying Hawaii what do you think you'll want to do next? Why have dinner of course! Before leaving on a trip where picking dining spots is played like a game of Pin-The-Tail-On-The-Donkey why not click the Shop button and get one of the Hawaii Restaurant Guides heading your way?
